Homecoming. We will follow MWHS and HT in their dress up days for the week.

Monday, September 24: PJ Day

Tuesday, September 25: Mismatch Day
Wednesday, September 26: Hat Day

Thursday, September 27: Jersey Day

Friday, September 28: Spirit Wear Day

This week we will work on:

During our Morning Meeting each student will have a time where they can share.  

We will start with a greeting and then students will have two minutes to tell a story, show or talk 

about something they would like to bring to share with the class.  

They will ask for three questions or comments.  If they are bringing in an item to share, it must fit 

in their backpack.

Here is our schedule:

Mondays: Davis, Nolan, Audrey and Connor

Tuesdays: Lizzie, Brayden, Josiah and Elias

Wednesdays: Emmy D., Owen, Julia and North

Thursdays: Genevieve, Alonso, Emily O., Caden and Rory

Fridays: Jackson, Kaia, Rein, Amelia and Barbara

The Daily Five in Reading:

*Read to Self

*Read to Someone

*Listen to Reading

*Work on Writing

*Word Work

Discussing nouns and will continue working on main ideas and supporting details by using 

graphic organizers.  We will be talking about reading fluency and how our reading pace changes
when we are reading different things.

In Writing:

Review writing all types of sentences.

Practiced handwriting.
Students will be given a writing prompt and will work on writing complete sentences to answer
the prompt.

In Math:

Understanding Addition and Subtraction.  Each day there will be a lesson and students will
practice in their Math Workbook, Morning Mania Math Workbooks or IXL.

Science/Social Studies:

Have not started yet.

Help your child remember to bring back their Friday Folders on Monday and bring a snack every day!
