If you have some great ideas for our Halloween Party and want to help let me know! The students will bring their costumes and change into them after lunch. Our party will start after everyone is dressed. Then we will join the school parade and finish our party.
During our Morning Meeting each student will have a time where they can share. We will start with a greeting and then students will have two minutes to tell a story, show or talk about something they would like to bring to share with the class. They will ask for three questions or comments. If they are bringing in an item to share, it must fit in their backpack.

We are working on visualizing and analyzing characters. We will be examining character's actions, feelings, thoughts and words. Understanding characters in a story helps readers better understand the story.
In Math:
We are working on story problems and how to change plus and change minus problems. We will also work with Venn Diagrams this week.
We also started math fluency timed tests. Everyone loved them!
Social Studies:
We are working on "What is Geography" in Social Studies. We are discussing landforms.
