We had a great week! We revisited our classroom expectations, started a few new apps on the Ipads, practice Daily 5 during our Reading Block and got to know each other.
This week during our MindUp! and Second Step time we will be sharing too. I have set up a schedule for the class to bring in our talk about something they would like to share. If they bring a special toy or object in it must fit in their backpack. They will have two minutes to tell the class all about their story or their special toy or object that they bring in. Then they will get to call on three of their classroom friends to ask a question or give a comment to them. This is a great way to get to know each other, speak in front of a classroom of friends and listen and ask questions!
Here is our Sharing Schedule:
Mondays: Liam, Wes, Augie, Elizabeth, Brody
Tuesdays: Cora, Corben, Matias, Brynn, Maxwell
Wednesdays: Sage, Mia, Simon, Ava, Natalia
Thursdays: Joshua, Donovan, Gia, Annabelle
Fridays: Sammy, Nellie, Jacob, Violet
