This week we will focus on:
Reading and Writing:
We will be starting an Animal Report this week! 
Students will pick an animal and research it's characteristics, habitat, diet 
and many other facts.

This Weeks Specialist Schedule:
Monday:       No School
Tuesday:      Day 4
Wednesday: Day 5
Thursday:     Day 6
Friday:          Day 1

On Day 1 we go to: Gym and Media
On Day 2 we go to: Music
On Day 3 we go to: Media and Gym
On Day 4 we go to: Art (Please have your child bring back their library book)
On Day 5 we go to: Gym and Media (Check out day)
On Day 6 we go to: Art and Music

Reading & Writing
Unit 5 - Skill: Connections & Inferencing:
We will continue to work on Inferencing and researching for our Animal Report.

We will continue to work on writing complete sentences with correct punctuation.

Lunch/Recess is from 12:20 to 1:00

2nd Step: Unit 3 - Lesson 12: Managing Embarrassment

In Math: 
Unit 4:  Money and Subtraction!!!! We have been working on 2-digit subtraction.  The students have
learned different strategies to help them with their regrouping/borrowing/ungrouping (three different
ways to say it)
Work with you child on some subtraction problem.
Examples:
     53       86      74   100   200
   - 26     - 47    -39   - 56   - 89

In Science:
We have started our Pebbles, Sand, and Silt Unit!
