Morning Meeting Schedule: Each student will have a time where they can share. We will start with a greeting and then students will have two minutes to tell a story, show or talk about something they would like to bring to share with the class. They will ask for three questions or comments. If they are bringing in an item to share, it must fit in their backpack.

Reading and Writing: Unit 8 - Skill: Determine Text Importance & Compare/Contrast:
Throughout
the week, students will identify comparisons and contrasts in pictures and
texts. They will learn that when authors compare, they show how things are
alike. When they contrast, they show how things are different. Authors also use
signal words such as also, both, and too to help readers identify comparisons; and but, however, and while
to identify contrasts. Identifying

Starting on the 18th- ALL REHEARSALS will be at the Performing Arts Center (PAC). Students will report to the Music Room at the end of the day and be bussed over to the PAC. We hope to honor the 5:30PM end time as much as possible, but we may run over depending on how the rehearsal goes. ALL STUDENTS MUST BE PICKED UP FROM THE PAC.
