Reading & Writing - Unit 6: Fix-Up Monitoring & Summarize Information
We will be reading a big book called Postcard
Clues. We will learn more features of realistic fiction. At home this week, try incorporating realistic fiction stories into your child’s reading time.
Understanding that realistic fiction is a made-up story that could really happen will be key.
Students will be able to summarize stories as they read, and eventually retell story events.
We will continue to work on writing complete sentences with correct punctuation.
